Just Oozes Quality and Craftsmanship
The main thing that I need to emphasize is how the Bosch Jigsaw feels in my hand. It is on the heavier side of jigsaws and that takes a little getting used to, but what it ends up doing is absorbing the vibrations better (which, in my opinion, is the worst part of using a jigsaw) and steadying the saw. This is an extremely well-balanced tool – its substantial, solid, and powerful – and that helps for your confidence in making cuts and the smoothness of your cuts.

By Far, The Best Option Out There
So far, this jigsaw has exceeded all my expectations. Where before, I avoided my jigsaws like the plague – the Bosch Jigsaw has become my go-to tool. This has been a great investment for me – it’s safer, more versatile, I make less mistakes, and better cuts. While its not cheap compared to some saws, the quality of this saw makes it comparable to the $300-level saws. And if it graduates to the #1 saw in your arsenal, like it did for me, and you start to use it as much as I am – what’s the price on that?

The New Jigsaw Arrives – How Shall We Get Acquainted?
When it first arrived and I popped it out of its box to have a look. It comes with three different blades (But I also did get a 5-pack of the Bosch Progressor Wood Blades – they work great with this saw, are great quality, and worth every cent) which is good for different types of cuts. It has a seriously long, soft, cable so I don’t have to use my extension cable – nice touch! But main thing I noticed is how solid this jigsaw is – it just feels like durability and solid quality.

It Makes the Cut For Me!
I wanted to take this puppy out for a test drive. I popped in a blade – man, this was so much easier than my other jigsaws, where I had to twist and twist – it literally takes me 3 seconds to change blades now. I grabbed a 2×4 and while normally I’d use any other saw than a jigsaw in this situation, I grabbed my Bosch Jigsaw, the 1590EVSK and ripped right through it! … And made a really smooth cut – no vibration, right on the line – clean. It was almost as if the jigsaw was helping make the cut for me.

I Used to Hate to Use My Jigsaw
I have to admit, I used to be very prejudiced against jigsaws. And I tried them all too – the reds, the yellows, and the grays! My cuts were never clean enough, I hated the vibration in my hands, and I never really felt like I was in control of my cuts. I always felt unskilled using my jigsaw – it was hard to follow the line, they never seemed powerful enough, and I always found a way to scratch the work surface… I really hated using them and would try any other saw before the jigsaw. All my buddy’s knew this about me and so you can imagine the look on their faces when I told them that my Bosch Jigsaw, the 1590EVSK is now my Go-To Tool!

What changed? Was It Me?
Well, I started doing a a ton of research on the internet – reading reviews and haunting forums and I saw a ton of stuff out there calling the Bosch Jigsaw the best jigsaw out there and I just couldn’t resist. It doesn’t take a lot of arm-twisting to get my to buy another tool… So I ordered it off Amazon and had it delivered overnight!
